PowerQuest Partition Magic v8.01 (self-extracting)

Partition Magic is not freeware, and this plugin is verified only for v8.01
Before you can use the plugin you must create a self-extracting (RAR) plugin for running this program from the RAM drive. This downsizes the plugin from 18MB to 4MB.

Install Partition Magic as described in the installation manual.



Before you can use this plugin you must download program/files from the internet and copy it to the plugin directory.

Download from the: www.powerquest.com

Copy the following files into the {plugin\pmagic8\files} directory:

Open "pmagic8\files\pmagic8_sfx.exe" with WinRAR and Copy the files from your "installation" directory into "pmagic8\files\pmagic8_sfx.exe" archive (via Drag and Drop)

Copy also the pqntdrv.sys into the pmagic folder



Edit the mpagic8.inf file and uncomment the software.addreg section, change the username, company name and your serial number.

It should look something like this:
